AMTA Assembly of Delegates (AOD)- Position Statement IDEA/Discussion Topics

The Assembly of Delegates (AOD) is a group of elected chapter members whose purpose is to provide input on items of interest for the Association as it relates/impacts their state, as outlined in policy.

An IDEA to be considered by the Assembly of Delegates can be submitted by a professional AMTA member or group of professional members, a chapter’s board of directors, or the National Board of Directors. The IDEA should be significantly different from any previously approved AMTA Position Statements.

Position Statement IDEA Submissions/Discussion Item Topic Proposals due to AODAC

August 7
AODAC returns proposal to submitters with any suggested revisions

August 21
Final/revised proposals due

Late August/Early September
AODAC shares proposals with Delegates for review

October 23
Assembly of Delegates Meeting, Indianapolis, IN
