National Massage Therapy Awareness Week Promotes Massage for Health and Wellness

A growing body of research shows massage therapy is beneficial for a wide variety of health issues, including stress, arthritis, back pain, muscles injury and just maintaining good health. This is the message that members of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) are sharing during National Massage Therapy Awareness Week® (NMTAW), October 25-31. NMTAW, now in its 19th year, is an opportunity for AMTA members to demonstrate the benefits of massage for the public..

AMTA massage therapists across the country will promote the benefits of massage for health and wellness during NMTAW through massage demonstrations, education events, special client promotions and other activities.
